Smurfit Kappa UK celebrated a galaxy of wins at the 2015 Starpack awards. The company achieved a total of seven awards consisting of four bronzes, two silvers and a gold. This was a best ever performance for the company. As well as paying particular attention to visual effect and exceptional design, Smurfit Kappa uses FSC certified corrugated board across all of its products. Its approach to packaging was applauded by the judges with compliments including “Simple, intuitive – no need for instructions” and “Point of sale with a real point of sale impact.” Ranging across Point of Sale, Retail Ready, Transit and Industrial the awards also acknowledged skills for Packaging Effectiveness and Materials Innovation.
