The Combo unit consists of a Shark 2 Metal Detector, which has advanced features making it highly sensitive to metal contaminants. Its advanced multi-frequency design gives outstanding performance on difficult products. The high speed Idecon Checkweigher control weighs the product dynamically and is recorded according to the Average Weight legislation. The Combo Unit has separate reject points for Metal contaminants and weight rejects making it 100 percent secure. Metal Detected product is rejected into a locked bin prior to the Checkweigher. The reject devices are high speed air operated. Audible and visual alarms are fitted to show any errors that occur. A full BRC Kit is fitted to meet Supermarket specifications. If weights are recorded below the tolerance they are rejected from the production line, into a weight bin.
