Coveris Rigid (Mansfield) UK Ltd, formerly Closures Ltd, has developed and put into production the lightest 38mm tamper evident cap on the market. In addition, Coveris is launching a range of products to serve the dairy and beverage markets, which includes three and two start bore seal caps as well as caps with EPE or IHS liners. With these announcements, Coveris shows a continued commitment to material saving and its ever expanding closure offering. Weighing 2.3 grams, the tamper evident cap is significantly lighter than the industry standard 3.3 grams.
