London’s Premier Packaging Show Returns

Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London 2021 will reunite the industry when it returns to Olympia on 1 and 2 December. The show floor will welcome over 180 leading suppliers across the food, drinks, fashion, and beauty sectors whilst a curated seminar programme will provide visitors with the latest industry insights.

New Concepts

Many exhibitors will use the show as the perfect platform to launch their latest packaging concepts.

For example, Lessebo Paper will launch its new biodegradable and recyclable paper range, derived from natural resources. The collection features 16 patterns for embossing to provide brands with a variety of premium printing finishes.

Leonhard Kurz will present its newest printing technology at the show – the Dreamcomposer. The software is simple to integrate into the design process, allowing brands to see high-definition previews of their concepts in-house.

Cole Fabrics will display its extensive range of sustainable ribbons made from a variety of natural fibres, including Tencel, cotton linen, and hessian.

Show Features

Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging London will also host an inspiring and varied seminar programme. Speakers include experts from The Body Shop, the Cambridge Design Partnership, and  Atom Brands. The forums will cover a range of common issues faced by packaging professionals, including design, building consumer relationships, and brand awareness, to provide attendees with a raft of actionable advice to improve their positioning through packaging.

The Pentawards will also present a series of curated sessions to showcase the latest industry trends in a bid to give brands the upper hand on their competition in an increasingly competitive industry.

New for 2021 is the £10bn debate, which will be hosted in association with the Foodservice Packaging Association and OPRL. The sessions will offer a platform for experts to debate new legislation affecting the packaging industry, such as the Deposit Return Scheme and Extended Producer Responsibility.

Renan Joel, Divisional Director at Easyfairs, concludes: “It has been a challenging 18 months for packaging professionals, and this year’s show will be extra special as we can finally meet in person again to do business. The show will be packed full of exciting content, with leading suppliers, specialist seminar speakers, and experts on hand to offer tangible advice. There really is something for everyone!”
