When Twinings Poland needed multiple carton closing machines last year for its popular range of premium teas, it chose Kliklok, which designed and installed three C1H high speed carton closers. With a proven history of successful installations for global tea brands like Liptons, Five Roses & Typhoo, Kliklok had the required knowledge and expertise. The project brief was to close two different size of cartons filled with tagged tea bags: 20s and 25s pack at up to 90 cartons per minute. The C1H closer was the perfect choice, being a continuous motion automatic closer, designed specifically for “hood cover” style cartons – which is becoming a preferred style for tea packers as it provides a ‘caddy pack’ re-closable feature, with or without a tamper-evident glue spot. The machines were engineered according to Twinings electrical & mechanical specification, with Siemens controls and integrated conveyoring system.
