Higgidy serves up brunch with new shakshuka-inspired quiche

Higgidy is celebrating the taste of spring with the launch of a brand-new shakshuka-inspired brunch quiche, supported in market by the return of its successful advertising campaign, Higgidy Helping of Scrumptious. The campaign will appear nationally on posters, in-store shopper marketing, and across PR and social media.

With relaxed mealtimes now the norm and brunch becoming a regular fixture, Higgidy has taken inspiration from global food trends to create a new Brunch Quiche that positions quiche as a delicious and versatile brunch option.

The brand has combined sun-kissed Mediterranean flavours of tomato and red pepper in its new Shakshuka-inspired Red Pepper and Greek Feta Brunch Quiche. Bursting with the zesty tang of Belazu’s award-winning rose harissa paste, the quiche is baked in seeded spelt shortcrust pastry and topped with a Greek feta and coriander crumb.

Also tapping into popular world flavours this season are two new additions to the Higgidy quiche range. The Cypriot Halloumi and Chimichurri Quiche with chilli combines extra mature Cheddar, parsley and spinach in a free-range egg filling. Baked in seeded shortcrust pastry, this sharing quiche is topped with Cypriot halloumi tossed in a vibrant, Argentinian-inspired chimichurri sauce.

Reflecting the growing popularity of Korean flavours in British cuisine, Higgidy is also launching an individually sized Extra Mature Cheddar & Kimchi Quiche with spring onions. Baked in seeded shortcrust pastry, this ‘Little Quiche’ is topped with a crumb that blends the tangy, spicy and deeply savoury flavour of kimchi with Red Leicester cheese, cayenne pepper and paprika.

The new 6” sharing quiches (400g, RRP £4.60) and Little Quiche (155g, RRP £3) will be available in selected retailers from 8th April, with wider grocery rollout throughout April 2026, supported by the ongoing quiche advertising campaign.

Higgidy uses only free-range eggs and contains no added flavourings or colourings.
