Ginsters are once again raising the stakes in the savoury pastry category with the launch of a tasty lunchtime innovation – the Ginsters Pastry Toastie.
Designed to be heated in a toaster in just four minutes, the new 130g Pastry Toasties are available in three flavours: Smoked Ham & Cheddar, Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella, and Chicken, Pesto & Mozzarella – meeting growing consumer demand for a top-quality, quick, tasty and hot lunchtime meal without compromising on flavour. Crafted by the brand’s expert chefs, the toasties have a crisp, golden baked pastry case with a range of delicious savoury fillings, using only 100% British meat. They can be quickly heated in the toaster for maximum taste – no mess and no hassle.

Ginsters is renowned for the effort and passion put into every bite, and the new Pastry Toasties are no exception. Comprehensive consumer testing and research revealed that 72% of respondents thought the concept sounded new and different, 79% said the product sounded exciting, and 76% confirmed they would buy them in addition to their favourite savoury pastry products.
The new range is launching exclusively in Tesco from 6 October, with the Smoked Ham & Cheddar Pastry Toastie also available in selected Tesco Express stores from 10 November, at an RRP of £2.50.
