Clipper has it covered

Clipper Logistics has been a leader in retail and high value logistics for more than two decades, operating in over 47 sites across the UK and mainland Europe, with a peak workforce of over 10,000. We have an unrivalled reputation for always getting the job done, no matter how challenging or complex, ensuring that our customers always deliver on their promises to their customers.

Working with some of the biggest names in retail, including John Lewis, ASOS, Asda, Superdry, Morrisons and Wilko, have won numerous awards for our range of multichannel solutions, including bespoke returns service – BoomerangTM, and retail-focussed ‘Click & Collect’ solution ClicklinkTM. However, whilst our approach to logistics sees us work with market-leaders, our bespoke approach also enables us to work with SMEs, start-ups and the UK’s fastest emerging brands – to deliver the same flexibility and exceptional service to every business, regardless of their size.

Retail is an ever-evolving industry constantly under pressure, it it’s not just the bricks and mortar stores that are changing, the way consumers shop is evolving. As a result, the pace of multichannel retail is phenomenal, fuelled by new technology, increasing customer sophistication and service expectation, rising mobile adoption, ever-shifting sales spikes and the rapid growth of channels.

As a logistics company with specialist retail experience, we have the fleet, the depots, the warehousing, the systems and the people to deliver on contracts of all sizes, and see the bigger picture without neglecting the day-to-day detail. We have a dedicated team who are experts in creating end-to-end logistics solutions, and have introduced cost-efficient semi-automated warehousing and advanced stock management systems. And when you need big company scale, we provide a shared-user distribution network.

But in the retail world, aesthetics are equally as important as product functionality, and packaging is now more important than it used to be. As a result, contract packaging is gaining popularity, especially amongst SMEs, where flexibility is key.

Our team specialises in the art of packaging. They not only provide packaging services, but also offer added value services to help you streamline one of your most costly and time-consuming processes, to keep your business one step ahead of the retail curve. Our contract packaging capabilities include over-wrapping, machine labelling, flow wrapping, hand labelling, semi-automatic shrink wrapping, sleeve wrapping, debranding, re-boxing and sorting and ratio packing.

We are also able to source any packaging materials you need, and offer QC checking for inbound products to ensure sustainability during rework, for categorisation into rework systems and for accuracy of carton quantity, box labelling or size markings to actuals. We also have an HMRC approved bonded warehouse facility that enables us to rework products in a duty-suspended state – a valuable service for large retailers.

With a highly skilled workforce, advanced machinery, endless experience, and a fluid infrastructure, we are able to offer seamless contract packaging tailored specifically to your needs.
