ProSweets Cologne is fine-tuning plans to showcase the entire range of supplies for the sweets and snacks industry, at its upcoming show, early next year.
Taking place between January 31 and February 3, the event has already attracted registrations from 22 countries, from processing and packaging machines, robotics and packaging to ingredients. In addition, the parallel staged ISM is also experiencing strong demand and is already 80 percent booked. Potential manufacturers of sweets and snacks will take the opportunity to visit Cologne to find out about new industry solutions at the supplier fair. Even if the overall participation in ProSweets Cologne cannot surpass the participation that’s been seen in previous years, it remains the only supplier fair, specifically for the sweets and snacks industry, to offer a clear industry focus with simultaneous, direct links to the manufacturers of these products.
In addition to the physical event, ProSweets Cologne is offering a new online industry tool for registered exhibitors and trade visitors as well as for media representatives, which enables networking with potential business partners. Via “Matchmaking 365+”, exhibitors of the supplier trade fair can connect with trade visitors long before the fair opens. The new functions include product presentations, video content and other information in the digital “Exhibitor Showrooms”. Virtual meetings per video, chat or audio are also possible.
Safety first
Bound by the ever-changing Coronavirus situation, ProSweets Cologne is regularly adapting its concept to meet current Government guidelines and offer exhibitors and visitors the greatest possible security. Measures developed by Koelnmesse include a universal online ticketing system with full registration, significantly widened aisles, comprehensive hygiene measures and compulsory mouth/nose protection in all areas except for seats in the stands and in the catering trade.
