Gainsborough Engineering Company is exhibiting two of its UK-designed and built vertical form, fill and seal machines at PPMA. Both machines have attracted a lot of interest at previous shows and helped to demonstrate the company’s versatility. The two machines on show will be the GV2K3 in stainless steel that has been sold as part of a twin set for packing of fresh vegetables incorporating a throat metal detector and thermal printer. The second machine is the entry level GV2K1 used for packing hardware. Gainsborough’s range of machines, from the competitively priced GV2K1 to the heavy industrial GV5, produce flat bag widths ranging from 50mm to 600mm. This, combined with the flexibility of bag length, can provide the customer with an answer to all their packaging needs. Further models within the range include the All Electric Packing Machine GEV1, ideal for coin packing and horticultural seeds and a range of GVFCS Quad Seal machines.
