Packaging manufacturer Coveris has been shortlisted for the prestigious Factory of the Year award by Cranfield School of Management, celebrating manufacturing excellence in the UK. The Best Factory Awards, managed by Cranfield School of Management, invite entries from UK manufacturing plants with the purpose of promoting and rewarding industrial excellence. Former winners include Siemens, 3M and Sony. Coveris has been shortlisted for a total of five awards across various categories. Coveris’ Lealand Way label site, one of two in Boston, was shortlisted for Factory of the Year, with further nominations in Household and General Products Plant Award; Continuous Improvement Award; Energy and Environment Award; Supply Chain Award. The factory is a printer of self-adhesive paper and flexible labels for FMCG goods specialising in chilled foods and produce.
