Part of the DK Group, Lemonpath Limited’s head office and warehousing operation is strategically based in Syston, Leicester, where it occupies a combined footprint of c.250,000 sq ft.
The site offers clients a variety of general co-packing services with food and drink co-packing services being provided in an AA rated BRC global standards for storage and distribution accredited facility together with general warehousing and e-commerce fulfilment operation. The second site, based in Loughborough, is 100,000 sq ft and is primarily a seasonal gift packing operation dedicated to a major client.
The Contract Packing division represents 60 percent of Lemonpath’s total revenue with key seasonal business centered around Christmas, Valentines, Easter, Mother’s Day and Halloween. This is supported by good “all year round” gifting and pre-retailing activity. 2019 forecast for Contract Packing activity is 450,000 production hours with around 15 million gifts packed.
E-commerce represents 30 percent of Lemonpath’s total revenue, which has experienced rapid growth in 2019.
The E-commerce facility comprises a variety of clients that operate across a wide range of markets including haircare products, shoes, flat-packed furniture, perfumes, pet products and bespoke hot water bottles! During 2019, we forecast to process 300,000 orders with 99.9 percent of the orders processed on time.
Transport and Freight services represents the final 10 percent of total revenue offering clients a complete range of UK/International postal/courier services together with pallet, part/full load and dedicated vehicle distribution within the UK and across Europe. A full range of import and export services handling (including sea freight and airfreight) are also available, in conjunction with long-term partners worldwide.
