Event just keeps on growing

The UK packaging market has a reputation for being robust, vibrant and innovative. It needs a packaging event that can reflect and support this, and that’s something Packaging Innovations and Luxury Packaging 2018 strive to achieve.
The events, which return to London Olympia on September 12th and 13th, offer a chance to meet, discuss, learn and network all under one roof. Packaging Innovations & Luxury Packaging 2018, held centrally at London Olympia, offer thousands of brand new solutions that will allow those who visit the opportunity to craft a consumer experience like no other.
Those who attend the events will be met by a line-up of 170 leading suppliers eager to showcase their latest innovations. Every year hundreds of products are launched, offering you the ideal opportunity to get first access to cutting edge solutions. The event is complemented by a free-to-attend programme of inspiring seminars, engaging show features and networking opportunities, giving you the tools you need to revitalise your packaging, increase brand awareness and boost companies’ sales.
This year, organisers have unveiled a new partnership for 2018 with ADF, the world’s premier event for aerosol and dispensing.
With successful shows already in New York, Shanghai and Paris, ADF is a leading event dedicated specifically to the aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetic packaging community. The partnership with Packaging Innovations London will see the introduction of a dedicated ‘ADF Zone’ on the show floor, which will welcome a selection leading suppliers. ADF will also curate a series of seminars along with sister event PCD helping to further develop Packaging Innovation London’s offering for the cosmetic industry.
James Drake-Brockman, Divisional Director of Easyfairs’ Packaging Portfolio, said: “The aerosol and dispensing market is growing rapidly, with the personal care sector now accounting for an incredible 72% of the UK packaging market.

New opportunities
As the fourth largest market for aerosols in the world, and with UK sales mounting to over £155m in 2016 alone, there are an increasing number of opportunities up for grabs. With this in mind, we wanted to deepen our connections and content within the sector, offering our suppliers and visitors working within the industry even more reasons to be at our London show. Last year’s Packaging Innovations London event saw some of the world’s biggest cosmetic brands in attendance, including Benefit, Unilever, Boots, Chanel, Johnson&Johnson, P&G and Superdrug, making the collaboration with ADF event more complementary.
