Cool Chile Co gets a makeover

Pressential PR - Cool Chile Co Gets a Makeover

To reflect its evolution and the growing popularity of its products within the retail sector, London’s Cool Chile Co, an established supplier and manufacturer of Mexican foods, is updating its branding to include new-look coloured packaging, logo and website.
The logo, whilst still representing the iconic Aztec snake, has been redesigned. It will maintain its strong impact to enable customers to instantly recognise the brand together with the product name. The snake still uses the original brand triangles but introduces more sections, to help communicate a stronger letter ‘C’ whilst maintaining a snake icon. The byline, “Mexican food supplies” will be removed to simplify the logo and to make brand recognition quicker and slicker.
The new premium packaging will be distinctive and high end, reflecting the quality of the products and giving them a strong visual identity so that they stand out more from other competitors. The pouch packs will be replaced with different packaging with more eye-catching points of difference. For example, each tortilla pack will have a small window so that the colour of the tortilla can be seen clearly. The cookery kits will be packaged in artisan ice cream style tubs.  Each product will include quick and easy recipe suggestions for the consumer.
The rebranding reflects the organic growth of the company as well as its vision for the future. The thinking behind the re-brand is that it will offer more desirability to buyers and exhibit a stronger presence on the shelf. In turn this will attract more merchandise opportunities in the future.
Managing Director of Cool Chile Co, Kelly Peak, said: “As markets have changed and our business has grown, we have identified a need for evolution in our brand, as well as in the packaging of our products. By working closely alongside Bless Design, we are confident that the significant investment in our branding and packaging will make a strong visual impact throughout the food industry.”
