Brand colour perfection

GMG’s latest product is priceless to brands and creative agencies who need to determine exactly how brand colours will print

GMG will be showcasing its colour solutions when Packaging Innovations returns to Olympia London (stand D14) between December 1-2.

On display will be the recently launched GMG ColorBook Pantone® licensed colour guide, the GMG contract proofing solution with powerful spot colour capability and the GMG ColorPlugin for multicolour conversions and ink optimisation directly in Photoshop.

GMG’s newest product, GMG ColorBook, will be the focal point of the stand, with samples and live demos of this Pantone licensed colour guide. It’s invaluable to brands and creative agencies who need to physically see exactly how brand colours will print. GMG ColorBook enables a highly accurate simulation of how both Pantone and custom colours print, even in digital printing. That’s because it’s produced on the actual production press, inks and substrate.

GMG ColorBook provides the exact ink combination (colour separation) used, and if the colour is out of gamut, it tells you by how much (in dE). Additionally, it can be used by both printers and their clients to compare factors such as printing CMYK-only or minimising channels. As the page numbers and layout are exactly the same as the Pantone Formula Guide Solid Coated, GMG ColorBook can quickly and easily be compared to this.

One lucky winner will receive a free personalised GMG ColorBook colour guide, including the winner’s chosen colours, by entering GMG’s prize draw.

Leave a business card at the GMG ColorBook display on GMG’s stand to enter the competition. Visitors can also find out about GMG’s solution for colour-accurate contract proofing – on both paper and packaging substrates, and including the best spot colour reproduction in the market. There will be a special show discount of 15 percent for the first three customers to purchase a GMG proofing solution at the show.

GMG will also be displaying GMG ColorPlugin for Photoshop, enabling precise conversions between a range of colour spaces with a colour-accurate preview. It makes manual colour adjustments and tricky workarounds a thing of the past. Customers can try out GMG ColorPlugin on their image files with a free 30-day trial.
