A partnership with a difference

With the rapid growth of online retail, a changing high street, economic uncertainty and the rise of eco-awareness among consumers, it has never been more important to have a future proofed supply chain. Over the last 23 years Century Logistics have set themselves apart by delivering innovative tailor-made solutions.

While the demands of their clients have changed, they have evolved alongside them, supporting their supply chain every step of the way. Whether that be project managing and operating a warehouse on behalf of a multinational brand, establishing an award-winning customer support centre or developing forward-thinking solutions for unique problems.
One key change within the logistics industry is the growing focus away from inland distribution and shift towards port centric operations. Primarily this is due to the influence of e-commerce markets, which directly benefit from the shorter supply chains and reduced cost of haulage.
Century Logistics have already taken advantage of this opportunity with 400,000 sq. ft of warehousing close to the port of Felixstowe already fully occupied and another 400,000 sq. ft available for new business. There is also another 6,000,000 sq. ft of speculative development within 40 miles of the port alongside the A14, which is fast becoming the ‘Logistics Highway’ for the UK. Century have spent the last decade working to champion reverse logistics through the development of cutting-edge returns software, waste management and product repairs.

Today they operate fully trained engineering workshops that handle thousands of after-sale repairs every month for multinational brands over multiple products. This not only eliminates consumer goods going into landfill, but extends the life of these products and generates significant value that would otherwise have been lost.
