At this year’s BRAU exhibition, taking place in November in Nurnberg, Parker domnick hunter Process Filtration will be launching a number of new and innovative filtration solutions for beverage production and bottling.
On show for the first time will be a unique portable filter integrity tester. The Valairdata 3 has been designed utilizing 40 years of experience in the provision of sterile air and gas filtration solutions. It is the quickest and easiest way to verify the integrity of sterile gas filter systems.
This evolution of the instrument incorporates state-of-the-art technologies to enhance the benefits offered by the aerosol challenge in comparison to other sterile gas filter testing methodologies. Such feature upgrades include touchscreen operation, long-life and lightweight battery, and USB transfer of test data. These features combine to improve the usability, data handling and ultimately reduce the time taken to perform filter tests in comparison to other instruments and methodologies.
Parker domnick hunter will also be showing the newly developed PREPOR NG filter cartridges for use in pre-stabilization applications in beer, wine, and bottled water processing. Designed utilising the company’s considerable expertise in the sector, and in close cooperation with leading beverage producers, the PREPOR NG range of prefilters provides excellent process control, high efficiency and security. Strong and durable construction ensures increased service life and minimal process downtime versus other products on the market.
PREPOR NG filters effectively address the need for control of microbial loading of bright beer following upstream clarification stages and before intermediate storage. Such control is also important in the wine industry to provide stability during storage and transport, and to ensure that the finished product maintains and develops its desirable characteristics after packaging. In the bottled water sector, careful and advanced design ensures that PREPOR NG filters provide protection from external contamination and reduce colloidal particulate and regulated microorganisms over extended periods of use.
The latest range of process filtration products from Parker are supported globally by an integrated network of manufacturing, sales and customer support centres, and by specialised local distributors providing a fast and efficient service to customers throughout the food and beverage sectors.
